FRP International is a quarterly newsletter, sponsored in Canada, USA and Japan by the American Concrete Institute, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, the Composite Institute, the Japan Concrete Institute and the ACMBS Network of Canada. In those countries it is distributed free to those working in the field of Advanced Composites or FRP reinforcement of Concrete. It has a bias to those countries, but since much of the work in this field is going on in those countries, that is not too surprising.
I act as the UK editor, sending articles to the main editor in Canada, and also distributing the journal in the UK.
The journal should be of interest to all members of the I.Struct.E. Study Group on New Materials.
If anyone wishes to receive copies of FRP International, please contact me by filling in the order form. The cost will be £16 to cover 2 year's issues (1996 - 1997).
If anyone has any articles they wish to contribute describing UK based work on or applications of FRP, please send them to me for forwarding to the main editor.
