They had a son, GEORGE HINGSTON who was baptised 2 Apr 1743 at Bigbury. That George married GRACE WHITHEARE at Bigbury on 3 Jun 1774. She was born about 1748, the daughter of Rev. Elias Whiteheare (Curate at Bigbury).
George and Grace had a daughter ELIZABETH HINGSTON who was baptised
27 Dec 1775 at Bigbury. Some crisis seems to have overcome the family
since George Hingston (Yeoman) 33 yrs & Grace his wife, daughter of
Rev Elias Whithear, 28 yrs, were both buried in one grave 19 Oct 1776.
Did their daughter die as well? If not, who brought up the child?
There is a quandary here that needs to be investigated.
