Note in register: That the vault mentioned in this book to have been built in the church of Aveton Gifford by the above Mrs Love at the death of her husband in the year 1764 (without the consent or knowledge of Mr Davies Rector of the said parish) was (at her interment therein) filled with earth, by order of the said rector, who charged, and received a very moderate fee of one guinea for her grave only.
