People

Below is a list of people (past and present) involved with the Bridge Research Group. There are other members of the Structures Group who have done research into bridge related topics, in addition to their other research. They are not listed here.

Staff

Prof. Campbell Middleton
Campbell is the Laing O'Rourke Professor or Construction Engineering. His interests include Yield-line Analysis and Reliability Analysis. His PhD work on yield-line analysis resulted in the COBRAS Concrete Bridge Assessment program, which is now available commercially.
 
Dr Neil Hoult
Neil is a Research Associate and is currently working on the WINES II project on smart infrastructure.
 
Paul Fidler
Paul is a Computer Associate. His main responsibility is developing the COBRAS Concrete Bridge Assessment program. He also works on developing software for use on small 'system-on-a-board' Linux devices used in teaching and research in the department.
